Not too long ago, I became an active member of the EMCA and, since the position of President was vacant, I volunteered to take over those duties. Without a doubt, I am thrilled with this opportunity. Since the Fall, I’ve met such wonderful, talented, and welcoming people! I’ve attended the receptions and gallery openings, joined the Plein Air painting group on Mondays, and helped with hangings. Most recently, I’ve helped diversify our focus to include the written word. In the coming months, I hope to be able to do so much more.
